Dr. Steve Laverson is a dedicated professional with detailed and expert knowledge of the skin in all its moods. Twenty years of surgical experience with all skin types including two years at major American burn centers have contributed to his intimate knowledge of skin anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, aging, and response to injury. He developed a superior understanding of skin behavior by evaluating characteristics of injured skin on thousands of faces and bodies, of men and women, young and old, black and white and brown, by healing that skin, and in many cases by removing and replacing it, by reconstructing its color, texture, elasticity, and managing its nutrition and final appearance. Dr. Laverson repairs and rearranges portions of skin on a daily basis to create beauty. The plastic surgeon has a select and exclusive understanding of human beauty, its components, and the desire of people to maintain and restore their youthful appearance.
